IDX Devin Vandenberg

As Vice President of Sales, Devin is responsible for bringing complex industry-leading infrastructure solutions to the marketplace, enabling customers to build next-generation capabilities across people, processes and technology. Devin focusses on expanding IDX’s solutions and services to more organizations, positioning IDX as one of Canada’s most innovative enterprise class infrastructure integrators. Above all, Devin ensures customers of IDX are completely satisfied with their experience.

Devin joined IDX in 1997. Over the course of his career, he has worked closely with some of the country’s largest organizations to shift their information technology approach from being a necessity and cost driver to being a key strategic business differentiator. Under his sales leadership, IDX has seen solid year-over-year growth.

Prior to joining IDX more than 20 years ago, Devin was a Branch Manager and Sales Executive with Systems Resources.

Devin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Alberta.

In his spare time and as a former rugby player, Devin remains a steadfast fan and active member of the Canadian rugby community. He currently serves as president of the Edmonton Rugby Union and is a member of the Alberta Rugby Board.


David Feraco
Vice President, General Manager-Principal

As a key member of the executive team and head of operations, David co-leads the Company’s strategic advancements. He orchestrates the coordination of processes, people and technology to deliver on IDX’s relentless commitment to customer satisfaction. He also plays an instrumental role in igniting industry and client innovation through his work with IDX Labs. Under David’s leadership, IDX Labs has been essential to establish diversified revenue streams for the business and offer IDX customers and partners unmatched insights into the IT world. With the help of his leadership, IDX has grown year over year.    

When David started with IDX as a young entrepreneur, he set out to prove that business and IT can work together, and he has. Through his 22 plus years with IDX, he has enabled the business and IT to deploy timely and effective strategic and complex solutions to realize significant cost optimization and new go-to-marketplace capabilities and competitive advantages.  He is also responsible for developing and optimizing new financial models to empower customers to leverage, consume and resell IT services in today’s world.

On a personal front, David adores spending time in the outdoors with his wife and two children.  He is an avid fan of sports and brings true meaning to the word fanatic when it comes to hockey.


Wray Steedsman
Vice President, Engineering

Wray Steedsman - IDX

Wray leads specialized teams engaged in the research, development, architecture and delivery of advanced engineering solutions. To ensure performance requirements are clearly understood, monitored and achieved, Wray works collaboratively with IDX’s business partners to oversee the operation of client sites.

Wray has spent more than 30 years in the field of information technology and telecommunications. He has held senior executive positions with EPCOR and TELUS, as well as several start-up telecommunication companies.

One of the highlights of his career was leading a 250-member IT department through a significant employee engagement and productivity turnaround. He oversaw the design, build and implementation of two Tier III data centres with N+1 fault tolerance that support critical government infrastructure.

Wray holds an ICD.D certification from the Institute of Corporate Directors and Rotman School of Management and is a graduate of the Queen’s School of Business Executive Program.

Wray is the Past Chairman of the Board with the not-for-profit Edmonton Mennonite Centre for Newcomers and served on the board of a high-tech 3D imaging company that produces oral prosthetics. He is also a member of the Chamber of Commerce Trade and Market Access Committee. When outside the office, Wray enjoys traveling, fishing and boating with his family, and has an avid love for the ukulele.


Vanessa Little
Global, CTO

Vanessa-Little

Vanessa (Van) has developed a diverse technology toolset in the last 25 years. She has experience in network and system architecture, mobile video system architecture and governance in both telco and retail sectors. She has consulted for nearly every telco as well as major retailers in North America and has worked as everything from unix sysadmin to Chief Technical Officer with a number of leadership and architectural roles in between, contributing to technologies from mobile, enterprise data centre, multi-national networks and beyond. Now as the Global CTO at Interdynamix Systems (www.interdynamix.com), Van is focused on creating leading innovative solutions that address the current and upcoming market.

She is leveraging commercial hardware and software as well as Open Source technologies to solve for specific problems. This role has her speaking at conferences around the world and spreading the word about the next generation of technologies. A member of Women of Openstack, and Women in Comms, Van is active in showcasing and championing women in tech fields. Currently splitting her time in various open source communities, she was the Chair of the Technical Steering Committee of Open Source Mano. She is also a former member of the Layer 123 NFV advisory board as well as a Linux Foundation Board Member. In addition, she spearheaded the VNF Onboarding Open Source community focused on rapid templating and automation of virtualized network function workloads.

Van attended the University of Toronto where she majored in Computer Science and Astro-Physics. Vanessa currently makes her home in Toronto Canada, where she enjoys spending her free time playing hockey, tennis and fishing.


Sandro Torrieri
Founder and Former President

Sandro Torrieri founded IDX in 1995 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada to fill a gap he saw in the industry for elite engineering services. Sandro holds numerous patents in Canada, the United States and Europe.
